Which mountain is that?

Standing in front of a mountain range, or scrolling through a trail's photos, users often can't tell which peak they're actually looking at: a summit's name and elevation live in maps and trail data, completely disconnected from the view or photo in front of them.

Naming the skyline

I designed an overlay that detects the skyline in view and pins each peak with its name and elevation, connected by a simple leader line down to the summit itself. It had to work whether there's one dominant peak or several crowded together, reading clearly against a plain sky or a busy ridge line, pointing back to Wikiloc's own terrain data.
